Before You Say Yes to That Opportunity

Opportunities land at unexpected times on senior professionals.

Sometimes one's defences are down.

And with the urgency, there is a lot of overthinking.

Sometimes the decision pans out well.

However when it doesn't, it's easy to regret a wrong decision made.

So how does one know that they have got it covered while making the decision?

Below is a sample assessment with indicative weightage on the different aspects that can contribute to a good decision.

1. Is this a "hell yes" or "hell no"?

2. Will this make me grow?

3. Can I live with the worst outcome?
