Sure shot ways to frustrate 'Visionary' Executive type

  • Incremental thinking without break throughs

  • Hyper focus on details & execution

  • Being too practical and focus only on why things don't work.

  • Missing emotional undertones

  • Missing people element.

Reflections for you when you expect 'Visionary' executives in the audience:

  1. What is my story/ narrative?

  2. How can I make it compelling?

  3. Is my imagined future disruptively different?

  4. What cause does it serve?

  5. What is my risk appetite? Is it influencing me not to think big?

  6. How good is my presentation in visual story telling?

  7. Am I strategic enough in my thought process?

  8. Do I lean towards present more than the future?

  9. How open I am to co-creation?

  10. Can I handle diversity of thought?

  11. What is new in what I have to offer?

  12. How good am I in influencing others in joining my bandwagon?

Any executives came to your mind as you read this? What improvements in your communication will you make at the next opportunity?

Be sure to read more in the upcoming blogs on other types as well as combination types.
